Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible to be the divinely inspired and only infallible, inerrant Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

We believe in the trinity of the deity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, equal and coexistent from all eternity, yet inscrutably one (1 John 5:7).

We believe in the virgin birth of our Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 1:23), His eternal deity and His perfect humanity (Hebrews 4:15). We accept literally His miracles, His death upon the cross as the only atonement for sinners (1 Peter 1:18-19), His glorious bodily resurrection and His ascension to the right hand of the Majesty on High (Revelation 1:18), and His promise to return in the air for His people and to establish His glorious kingdom in righteousness (1 Thessalonians 4:14-17 & 2 Peter 3:4-14).

We believe man to be lost in his natural condition, at enmity with God and to die without Christ is to perish forever (John 8:24). We believe salvation to be through faith in Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-10), the new birth being the work of the Holy Spirit in the soul (John 3:5). We affirm that the believer is indwelt by the Spirit of God upon conversion (Ephesians 1:13). We believe in the resurrection of the saved to life eternal, and of the lost to eternal damnation (Matthew 25:46).

We believe God’s intent for marriage is shown in creation: one man/one woman in a covenanted lifelong monogamous relationship that images Christ and the church. Because of humanity’s fall into sin, all of us experience the fracturing and alienating effects in ourselves in various ways, including our sexuality and identity. Only within the gospel do chastity, fidelity, and holiness fully make sense. (Genesis 1:27; 2:20-25; Ephesians 5:25-33; Matthew 19:1-12; Romans 1:18-32; 3:21-23; 7:14-25; 1 Corinthians 7:24-27; James 3:2).

We believe as an evangelical organization we can work harmoniously with all those who hold the above fundamentals of the faith and will not seek to promote personal or denominational distinctives, which would be divisive to the unity of the body of Christ as represented by the Board of Directors (1 Corinthians 1:17-21 and John 17:21-23).
