Core Values and Code of Ethics

We are thrilled you are interested in joining our team!  So that we are all on the same page, let's get started with the guiding principles that shape who we are.

CORE VALUES

Central Food Network exists to improve our community and strengthen the social safety net for people living in poverty and those who need emergency access to food or warmth.

As we undertake activities to achieve our mission of relieving the impacts of poverty, we are guided by our core values:

RESPECT: We recognize and uphold the rights of all people to be treated with respect and in ways that protect and promote dignity and autonomy.

INCLUSIVITY: Everyone has a role to play in ending poverty and there is a space for everyone.

COURAGEOUSNESS: We are brave and tenacious in accomplishing our mission.

COLLABORATION: We nurture connections that lead to positive change.

HONESTY: We act with integrity, sincerity and truthfulness and are impeccable with our word.

EQUITY: We use our position and power to promote justice and equal access.

STEWARDSHIP: We make the best use of all available resources in order to achieve our mission.

TRANSPARENCY: We offer open communication and visibility into our organization, including our goals and allocation of resources. We proudly share our successes as well as own our unsuccessful attempts.
