A little bit about our ethos & values here at The Women’s Centre Cornwall:

The Women's Centre Cornwall is run by women, for women.

We aim to empower and enable all women and girls to gain the health, wellbeing, confidence and skills to achieve their full potential and feel stronger and more independent about who they are and what they are truly capable of.

Our vision is a world where women take their rightful place in a just and fair society, free from inequality, violence and oppression.

We are committed to ensuring that every woman and girl associated with The Women’s Centre Cornwall is treated with dignity and respect and are given access to opportunities and support in a manner which demonstrates that we value difference and diversity.

The Women’s Centre Cornwall endeavours to demonstrate its commitment equality & diversity by applying procedures, behaviours, language and actions that challenge discrimination at all levels and by incorporating this commitment in all aspects of our organisation’s work and practice.

These Volunteering roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and open to women only (exempt under the Equality Act 2010 Schedule 9, Part 1).
