Village Project is grateful for your willingness to serve as a volunteer.  Each volunteer position is highly valued.  Your help allows us to meet our mission of coming together as a community of all ages to provide nourishing meals and extended care and service to our neighbors experiencing cancer.  

In order to operate effectively, we ask that volunteers follow the following guidelines:

Volunteer Attendance - If for some reason you are not able to work as scheduled:

  • Sign into the Better Impact data base and remove yourself from the schedule.
  • Contact a volunteer on the back up list to fill your role.  
  • If you are not able to find a replacement, please email your activity leader or call the office:  440.348.9401.  

If this procedure is not followed and becomes a pattern, you will be removed from the active volunteer list. 

Volunteer Availability - Please keep your Better Impact Volunteer Profile availability updated, so that we may contact you with activity opportunities that fit your schedule.

Volunteer Paperwork - All volunteers must have a completed medical release and consent form on file.  Specific volunteer roles may require further documentation such as: driver's license, proof of insurance, and background check. 

Volunteer Culture - We seek to provide a safe, happy, and positive environment for all volunteers.  Please be respectful of the VP facility, equipment, and all those involved in our organization.
