Adopt-A-Meal Food Policy

All Shelter Nova Scotia facilities have a strict NO PHOTO/NO VIDEO policy and volunteers and visitors are prohibited from taking pictures of interiors, food service or guests, tenants, residents or clients without express prior written consent.

No person under the age of 19 is allowed on any Shelter Nova Scotia facility property, this includes children left in vehicles during drop-off of meals.

Shelter Nova Scotia facilities abide by all Food Health & Safety guidelines established by the Nova Scotia government and thereby require that all volunteers familiarize themselves with the Food Safety training materials provided on this portal.

By accepting this policy, all volunteers agree to keep their Food Safety knowledge current by completing our Food Safety E-Learning Module
