Volunteer Policies

PICAL's Volunteer Policies are:

Applicant must submit National Police Background Check (PICAL will reimburse you $29.90 for volunteers) or Working With Children Check.  

After filling out our online application though Better Impact, we will invite volunteer candidates to an information session. The PICAL staff will contact you if we move forward with your application. 

If you are accepted into our volunteer program, we will contact you and happily help you fill out the form at PICAL. National Police Background Checks generally only take a few days to process. 

At this point, we will help you navigate our easy to use volunteer management system, Better Impact, in order to help you roster shifts online.
