COVID- 19 Pandemic Volunteering
The COVID-19 pandemic has shifted the volunteer opportunities that are currently available within the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA). Due to the public health order and the guidelines that are currently in place, we are limited in the way by which Volunteers can provide service within our communities.

Process for becoming a Saskatchewan Health Authority Volunteer
Step 1 – Right Match
Review the current opportunities listed to determine if there is a position that you can match with based on your location, skills, and interests
Step 2 – Apply On-Line for Specific Volunteer Services Position
Please complete the online application as thoroughly and accurately as possible. This will help us understand your interests and availability in volunteering
Step 3 -- Complete Screening Requirements
Volunteer Services will request the completion of several forms including two references, Media Consent, Confidentiality Pledge, and Photo Identification
Step 4 – On-Line Volunteer Orientation
A general on-line orientation to the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be provided for you to complete
Step 5 – Phone Contact/Interview and Criminal Record Check
A Volunteer Services staff member will make contact with you to arrange a date and time for an interview. They will then provide you with information about obtaining a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
Step 6 Training
Training specific to your volunteer position and the location will be provided
