Infection Control Measures
You must always follow COVID-19 hand hygiene and infection control measures when volunteering, including every time you enter or leave or are in the same space as others. We will provide you with all necessary protective equipment, as needed.
If you, or someone in your household, do not feel well (with Covid or flu symptoms), you must stop volunteering right away and tell the volunteer coordinator immediately. Also, please let us know if you tested positive for Covid soon after you have finished your volunteer shift.
By checking the box below, I authorize the Community Christmas Hamper Campaign, co-managed by the Jeffery Hale Community Partners, to photograph me during the course of my volunteer activities to use these photos for publicity purposes in e-newsletters, on the campaign’s website qchampers.ca or Facebook page.
I agree to confidentially guard any information of a personal nature concerning hamper recipients that may be revealed to me during my volunteer duties. “Confidential” means that you must not reveal clients’ names or talk about them to anyone else in ways that could make their identity known to others. Our committee, organizations, partners, and clients are all counting on you as a volunteer to respect this rule.
We accept volunteers of 18 years and older only, UNLESS you are volunteering as a family on delivery day. You must be under your parent’s or guardian's supervision to volunteer to deliver.
Hoping to deliver? Great! You must have a valid driver’s license and have a helper who can lift at least 25lbs to help you with this task.
