Organization Policies

Volunteers at the North Shore Neighbourhood House are expected to:

Be of the age 13 and over

Have an interest in working with the public.
Arrive on time for a shift, and stay for the full duration.
Record their volunteer hours using this program(Better Impact)
Able to commit 3-4 months, for 2.5-3 hours per week of volunteer service.
Treat other volunteers, staff, and clients with respect and dignity.
Treat volunteer shifts as an important priority, and if need to cancel will contact program supervisor.
Contact the Volunteer Coordinator if I decide that I no longer wish to volunteer at the North Shore Neighbourhood House.
