JourneyCare Juniors & Foundation Youth Advisory Board
Every effort should be made to attend all meetings. Limited spots are available in each membership-based club. If you are unable to meet the time commitment, please consider supporting the JourneyCare mission via a CareShop or Kits.
Visit Youth Volunteer Opportunities on our website for links to learn more about the CareShops or Kits.
Club Participant Commitment
I agree to:
- Arrive on time to meetings and events
- Respond in a timely manner to phone calls/emails/texts from the Volunteer Services Team
- Set aside my personal cell phone during my volunteer time
- Follow through on commitments made to the program
- Give advance notice if resigning from the program
I acknowledge that there is a minimal risk of personal injury and that JourneyCare will take reasonable and customary precautions to ensure my safety.
In return for my volunteer work, the staff of JourneyCare will provide me with a safe environment in which to volunteer, training, on-going support and letters of service completed (if requested). Specifically, I will receive supervision, encouragement and recognition from the Volunteer Services Team and other agency employees.
Legal Guardian Commitment
I, the legal guardian of the participant of this Kids Who Care program, will help my child participate to the fullest. I have filled out the registration form on my child’s behalf and give them permission to participate.
If you are completing this Kids Who Care application on behalf of your child, please make sure you enter your child's name and child's birthdate on the following page. (Some computers have a tendency to auto-populate these fields.) You will have an opportunity to share your name and contact information under the Emergency Contact section of our application form.
