AGREEMENT
I recognize that ElderCare Ministries has a foundational Christian history and culture that continues to inform the manner in which the daily business and mission of ElderCare Chaplaincy is carried out. Accordingly, I generally concur with the Statement of Faith as a condition of my volunteering/employment.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
ElderCare Ministries believes the Holy Bible to be the verbally inspired Word of God, the final authority for faith and life, without error in the original writing, infallible and God breathed – That the creation of humankind was by the direct act of God – That our Lord Jesus Christ was born to a virgin and that He came into the world fully man and fully God - That Jesus, the only Son of God, in order to pay a great debt, took upon Himself the sins of men and women by the shedding of His own blood on the cross - That He defeated death as proven by the resurrection of His body - That He has the power to save us from our sin, and that through the Holy Spirit, we are made new - That the gift of everlasting life is free and only by the grace of God.
