Monash Health Community Advisory Committee

Involvement requires attendance at meetings every second month (Wednesdays 5-8 pm) with a couple of hours reading and action in-between.
Applications are open until the 31 July 2024 and all applicants will be notified of the outcome after the 20 September 2024
Applications will be considered against the following selection criteria:
- Capacity to reflect patient, carer or family member perspectives
- Capacity to reflect views of our community
- Strong links to community and/or consumer groups
- An interest in creating safer systems and better care
In addition applicants will need to meet the eligibility requirements of the Monash Health Consumer Advisor Program, which include:
- experience of Monash Health services as either a patient, carer, or family member of a patient
- an interested in health service improvement
- being willing to contribute on a voluntary basis
- not currently a Monash Health Staff member/employee
- not representing an organisation or business interest
- being willing to sign a confidentiality agreement and comply with relevant Monash Health's policies, procedures, values and code of conduct
- being willing to undertake orientation and training as required
- being willing to undertake a Police Check and Working with Children Check
- being willing to provide the name and contact details of two (2) referees
- having required COVID vaccinations
Successful applicants will need to join the Monash Health Consumer Advisor Program (if not already a member)
