Data Consent Policy

There will be times when we need to communicate with volunteers and share important information, therefore, we need to ask for your consent to contact you via the following options below.

Email - (Please note, consent is required to become a volunteer)
We will need to email you to discuss your role, share important information with you, and check your well-being etc. We also send an email newsletter to share important safeguarding updates including our safeguarding rota, volunteer, service user and charity updates and training opportunities etc.

Telephone - (Please note, consent is required to become a volunteer)
We may need to phone you to discuss your role, share important information with you, and check your well-being etc.

Text message/ WhatsApp - (Please note consent is required to become a volunteer)
We may need to text/ WhatsApp you to share important safeguarding updates including our safeguarding rota or to discuss your role and to check your well-being etc. We also have some volunteering WhatsApp groups we will ask if you would like to join.
