Thank you for taking an interest in volunteering with Darebin City Council. The role of a volunteer is viewed by Council as an essential component to helping communities keep connected and engaged. We are committed to ensuring a safe, fair, inclusive and enjoyable volunteer experience for our diverse community.
A friendly reminder, to volunteer with the Early Years Volunteer Program, volunteers are required to:
- have a valid Working with Children Check (the Volunteer WWCC is free)
- complete a Police Check (at no cost to you)
- provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 (minimum two doses)
This program prioritises volunteers living in Darebin, working in Darebin and/or studying in Darebin.
