We are unable to offer volunteering to under 18 year olds outside the hours of 8am-4.30pm weekdays. Ward volunteer shifts commence at 9.30am or 1.30pm. Students who are undertaking volunteering to support course requirements should note that you must apply at least 6 months before your potential leave date in order to allow sufficient time to complete both recruitment and all volunteering shifts.
Any voluntary placement, if offered, will be subject to the information supplied by you as being correct. You must understand that if you knowingly withhold valid information or include incorrect information your voluntary placement is liable to cease. You must also understand that any placement will be subject to satisfactory references, health clearance and satisfactory police check appropriate to the placement area. In addition, you understand and agree that by completing this form you give consent to the information being held and processed by the Trust in relation to your application/volunteer placement in accordance with current data protection guidelines. You retain the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
