Health And Wellness Practitioner Description

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the North Shore Women's Centre Health and Wellness Program. The North Shore Women's Centre is a non-profit organization working with self-identifying women and gender-diverse individuals on the North Shore. Our mission is to improve the social, economic, legal and political status of women, and to encourage and support self-empowerment by acting as a resource and a catalyst for change, from feminist perspectives.

Our Health and Wellness Program provides a broad range of services, including private appointments and drop-in classes.  Examples include yoga instructor, acupuncturist, energy healer, reflexologist, naturopath, etc. Treatments and classes take place during our operating hours (Monday – Thursday, 9:30 – 3:00). Volunteers must be able to provide 1 day of services a month (2-4 appointments) and are expected to commit to a minimum of 6 months. Full position description here.
