Cincinnati Animal CARE Volunteer Policies
Welcome! Thank you for your interest in supporting Cincinnati Animal CARE (CAC) and our mission to provide homeless animals in our community individualized care, lifesaving solutions, and temporary shelter en-route to a safe, compatible home. Our volunteers are dedicated, compassionate, and creative people who take action in their community to ensure better outcomes for our animal friends. They are an integral part of our team and the lifesaving services we offer at Cincinnati Animal CARE.
Please review the following policies before continuing with the application:
Waiver and Release of Liability: I understand that the handling of animals and other volunteer activities on behalf of Cincinnati Animal CARE Humane Society may place me in a hazardous situation and could result in injury to me or my personal property. On behalf of myself, and my heirs, personal representatives and assigns, I hereby release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Cincinnati Animal CARE Humane Society and its directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all claims, causes of action and demands of any nature, whether known or unknown, arising out of or in connection with my volunteer activities on behalf of Cincinnati Animal CARE Humane Society. At no time will I interfere with the operations of or the decisions made by Cincinnati Animal CARE Humane Society, whether at the shelter or outside of the shelter. I understand that such interference may result in the termination of my volunteer privileges.
Media Release: I understand that marketing and promotion are important for the success and growth of both the Volunteer Program and the organization at large. I thereby release Cincinnati Animal CARE Humane Society to use my image and likeness as needed for the promotion of volunteerism, adoption, the organization, and its mission.
