Volunteer Policies

Requirements to apply as a NOTL Ambassador

You should

Enjoy welcoming and engaging visitors
Have an enthusiastic, outgoing and friendly attitude
Love NOTL and be able to share information about the Town, including your own favourite things to do
Complete all required training (including the basics of: using websites, MAP (our online scheduling tool, online forms, etc.)
Be comfortable using basic technology as above independently
Be able to volunteer for at least 8 two-hour shifts from May to October on Fridays, Weekends and Holidays
Have the ability to stand and walk outside for 2 hours in various weather conditions
Be 18 years of age or older
