LIABILITY WAIVER
The undersigned hereby acknowledges that working with the animals may be dangerous and can lead to serious injury or even death. The undersigned understands and agrees to personally assume any and all the liability and risks of working at SAFE Haven. Further, the undersigned agrees to hold harmless SAFE Haven, its officers, directors, agents and other volunteers, prior and current, from any responsibility or liability for any and all personal injuries or death, which may occur during the term of this agreement. |
Volunteer Policies
Your acceptance into our volunteer program is dependent upon your attitude towards volunteer work, your comfort level working with animals, your attitude towards shelters and our specific philosophy and mission, and whether or not we have positions available on the dates you are available. Thank you for your interest in volunteering with SAFE Haven for Cats.
I do permit and authorize SAFE Haven for Cats and its employees, agents, and personnel who are acting on behalf of SAFE Haven for Cats to use my photograph or other likeness for purposes related to the educational mission of the shelter, including publicity, marketing, and promotion of the shelter and its various programs. I understand my photo or likeness may be copied and distributed by means of various media, including video presentations, television, news bulletins, mailings, brochures, placement on the shelter’s website, or newspapers. I understand that SAFE Haven cannot warranty or guarantee that any further dissemination of my photograph or likeness will be subject to SAFE Haven supervision or control. Accordingly, I release SAFE Haven from any and all liability related to dissemination of my photograph or likeness. I have read this paragraph and understand its contents.
