Volunteer Strathcona - VS Programs Volunteer Application Form

I do hereby agree to the following as part of my application to participate in Volunteer Strathcona’s  volunteer programs.

• I agree to participate willingly and voluntarily in Volunteer Strathcona programs.

• I agree to follow the direction of Volunteer Strathcona staff.

• I agree to speak and act in a manner that respects the privacy and dignity of the organization, clients, staff, volunteers and donors. 

• I agree to respect the confidentiality and privacy of all clients, staff and volunteers. The full confidentiality agreement is to be signed later in the application process.

• I agree to adhere to Volunteer Strathcona’s Health and Safety protocols both written in the Volunteer Release and Waiver and any updates that may be made in the future.  That also includes any and all government issued guidelines and protocols that may arise from time to time. The full Volunteer Release and Waiver is to be signed later in the application process.

• I agree to follow the Volunteer Strathcona Protocols as outlined in the Volunteer Handbook.

• I understand that I will be asked to cease volunteering if any of the above items are not complied with.

• I certify that I am physically fit and I certify that there are no health-related reasons or problems which preclude my participation in this activity.

• I understand and accept the risks of my volunteer position. I understand that there is an inherent risk of injury which may occur during the course of my volunteer activities with Volunteer Strathcona.

• I certify that I have read and fully understand this document and it's content.
