Internship & Animal Care Volunteer Application - Wonders of Wildlife

Intern & Volunteer Requirements:

• • Interns
    • Hours: Interns must work at least 24 hours per week with a minimum of one 8-hour shift per week.
    • Duration: Interns must complete a minimum of 240 hours over a minimum of 10 weeks.
  • Volunteers
    • Hours: Volunteers must work at least one 4-hour shift each week.
    • Duration: Volunteers must agree to a minimum volunteer commitment of 6 months of service.

What you agree to:

• Abide by the policies and procedures of the organization
• Attend scheduled orientation & training sessions, where applicable
• Notify the appropriate person if unable to volunteer or if you’ll be arriving late
• Meet minimum hour or shift requirements designated based upon volunteer role
• Hold as confidential any private information obtained directly or indirectly through volunteer service

We agree to:

• Provide you with a choice of assignments, where possible
• Provide orientation, training, supervision, and guidance to you
