Volunteer Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years old. Anyone between the ages of 8-15 MUST have a   parent or legal guardian actively volunteering with them in the same room. No one under the age of 8 is allowed to volunteer.
  • Produce a picture ID.
  • Possess a sincere passion for animals that causes you to treat them with kindness, patience and respect at all times.
  • Believe in and support our "No-Kill" Philosophy.
  • Communicate positively and professionally in all volunteer roles.
  • Understand and fulfill all responsibilities of your volunteer role independently.
  • Disclose any physical or psychological limitations.
  • Have a positive attitude and the ability to handle an emotional and stressful workplace.
  • Up to date Tetanus shot is recommended.
  • Please understand completion of this application does not guarantee acceptance into our volunteer program.
