Volunteer Agreements
First Responders and Episodic volunteers are individuals who volunteer for a single event or within a limited activity or program for Mystic Aquarium. Information contained in this application will be kept confidential.
- Model Release: For a period of 20 years from the date hereof, to the worldwide use, reproduction, and distribution through any type of media for advertising, trade, or other purpose of my photo or voice obtained during my working relationship with Mystic Aquarium with or without my name, and that Mystic Aquarium may secure copyrights thereof.
- Release of liability: I realize that participation in all activities is voluntary. I hereby release and discharge Mystic Aquarium its successors and assigns, officers, trustees, employees, agents, and related entities from all actions, claims or demands, that I, my heirs, personal representatives, or assigns now have or may hereafter have for injuries or property damage resulting from my service. I agree that this Release includes injury or damage caused in whole or in part by the Foundation and its employees, agents, officers, or related entities.
- I agree that, due to the safety of our animals and staff, I will refrain from entering behind the scenes of any animal area, without the permission of aquarium staff.
I have carefully read this agreement and understand that it is a complete release of liability. I am aware that it is a contract between myself and the Sea Research Foundation d/b/a Mystic Aquarium.
