Central Florida Animal Reserve Conservation Corps Volunteer Policies
- All members of the CFAR Conservation Corps are required to attend a face-to-face orientation which is held on the date of their first shift
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must be currently enrolled in either their junior or senior year of high school or any year of college
- Must provide their own transportation
- Must provide and maintain appropriate paperwork to document hours
- Must complete a liability waiver (signed by parent/guardian if under 18)
- Must exhibit strong attention to detail and be able to read, process, and execute directions in English both spoken and written
- Must be able to perform tasks as assigned to their full completion
- Must be free of any unsafe physical or psychological limitations in order to work on-site
- Must remain with their 0n-site supervisor at all times
MEMBERS OF THE CFAR CONSERVATION CORPS WILL NOT BE IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH THE ANIMALS. ANY MEMBER CAUGHT DOING SO WILL BE DISMISSED IMMEDIATELY AND ALL HOURS ACRUED AT THAT POINT WILL BE INVALIDATED.
