Thank you for choosing to apply to become a volunteer for St Andrew's Hospice.
Volunteering can be amazing! You are making a contribution to the Hospice, helping people, learning new skills, broadening your horizons and making new friends. Volunteering can be a great introduction back into work or to fill your time rewardingly.
As a St Andrew's Hospice volunteer, there are some guidelines and policies that all must adhere to. These form part of the application process so please read them in full before submitting your application form.
You agree to:
- Abide by the policies and procedures of the Hospice.
- Notify the appropriate person, within a reasonable timeframe, if unable to volunteer.
- Complete any mandatory training required for the role.
- Understand that whilst volunteering you may hear things of a confidential nature about St Andrew's Hospice and their Retail Sites. Any information obtained during your volunteering role must be considered confidential and not be disclosed.
We agree to:
- Do our best to make your volunteering experience enjoyable and rewarding.
- Provide training, supervision and guidance to you.
- Treat all volunteers in a fair, equitable and consistent manner.

Due to insurance regulations and restrictions, we are unable to offer retail volunteer roles to anyone under the age of 16. Anyone aged 16-18 will be requested to complete a Parental Consent Form.
