Youth Volunteer Policies

Important Note:

Our Youth Services Program offers a variety of opportunities for newcomer youth (ages 13–24) to get involved and to complete their community service hours, including both group and individual volunteering. If you are a newcomer to Canada (Permanent Resident, Convention Refugee, Refugee Claimant, etc.) and are interested in volunteering, please proceed with this application.

Parental/Guardian Consent Requirement

If you are under 18 years of age, you must provide signed parental/guardian consent in order to participate in the Youth Volunteer Program with Bridges Niagara.

Photo Release:

I hereby authorize the taking of photographs or videos by staff, employees or partners of Bridges Niagara for the use of:

  • Educational/Training Purposes
  • Media Release
  • Publicity (pamphlets and posters)
  • Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Website)

I also authorize Bridges Niagara to include my name in the credits of my image.

If I do not consent to having my photo taken and/or having my name included with my photo, I understand that I must inform the Youth Services Program Coordinator immediately.
