Short-Term and Holiday Fosters
Any holiday throughout the year is a great time to celebrate, spend time with friends and family, and relax! Why not add a pet to the festivities?
Short-term and holiday fosters allow pets a break from the shelter even if they do not have specific medical or behavioral needs. During this time fosters help us learn about their personality and all the reasons they will make a fantastic pet!
Here are some things to keep in mind when considering fostering a pet.
- All supplies will be provided including food, litter and litter box for cats, kennels, toys, pet beds, and anything else you may need.
- Pets must stay in Brazos County unless specific travel plans are approved by the Foster Coordinator in advance.
- While we hope to get as many pets into foster as possible, we cannot guarantee every applicant will receive a pet. This could be due to the number of applicants or compatibility of pets and foster homes.
