General Volunteer Applications
Thank you for expressing an interest in volunteering for The Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Volunteering is a fantastic way to gain hands-on experience within a busy acute hospital environment whilst providing valuable support to our patients and staff. We offer a range of volunteering opportunities, both patient-facing and non-patient-facing, allowing applicants the chance to contribute to the clinical and/or administrative foundations of the services delivered by our Trust. Applicants must be over 16 years of age and able to commit to a minimum of one three-hour shift per week for a period of at least six months.
The next opportunity to apply to become a Volunteer for our Trust will be from Monday 2nd February 2026.
