Digital Crisis Supporter Requirements

You must:

be 18 years of age;
be a NSW resident;
be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or have a valid visa (with a minimum of 6 months and with a view to renew);
have a minimum typing speed of 38 wpm and 90% accuracy; and
be willing to obtain a current Fit2Work and Working with Children Check.

Volunteers are also asked to make a minimum time commitment to Lifeline of 12 months, and complete all three stages of Digital Training includes:

Stage 1 - 8 week training course
Stage 2 - 10 - 15 hours of placement shifts
Stage 3 - 52 hrs crisis support (within 5 months inc one 4hr shift per fortnight)
