Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Open Doors. Volunteers play a vital role in supporting and delivering our programs and services. Please note the following:
- Volunteers must be over 16 years; if younger please call 905-634-1809.
- Vulnerable Sector Police Checks may be required depending on the volunteer position you are applying for.
- All volunteer applications are reviewed according to available volunteer opportunities, program capacity and in accordance with job descriptions.
- All volunteer applicants are required to have a phone or virtual interview with appropriate Open Doors staff to assess suitability.
- All volunteers must adhere to current COVID-19 protocol, which will be made accessible for volunteers once assigned to a program.
- All volunteers must show proof of third COVID-19 vaccine to participate.
