Asian Art Museum Volunteer Agreement
The Asian Art Museum is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming experience for everyone.
By completing a volunteer application, you agree to the following:
- You will follow the Asian Art Museum’s code of conduct and policies.

You are willing to perform the duties outlined in the volunteer opportunity you selected.

You will notify the Education and School Programs department if you are unable to complete your volunteer duties or need to change your volunteer commitment.

You will wear a volunteer identification badge while completing your volunteer shift.

You will accurately record your completed volunteer hours.

You are willing to receive email communications from the Volunteer Program.

You accept the Asian Art Museum’s right to coach you to improve your performance or dismiss you from service with the Volunteer program if you do not comply with our guidelines.

Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance into the Volunteer Program.
Expectations
All volunteers must be 16 years of age or older.
Primary volunteer assignments will be in support of the family public programming and school tours.
Typical Shifts include
Monday through Friday
9 AM–5 PM
Sundays
9:30 AM–4 PM
The museum is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays but some volunteer work may occur on closed days to help develop programming or prepare for school tours.
