Pet Therapy Volunteer Expectations

All volunteer applicants must:

Be 18 years of age or older
Have their dog registered with one of the following organizations and maintain their registration yearly
- Alliance of Therapy Dogs: www.therapydogs.com
- Pet Partners: www.petpartners.org
Commit to volunteering for at least 6 months of service with 2 or more shifts per month
Complete a medical screening
Successfully pass a background screening
Attend an interview, tour and additional trainings as needed
