Volunteer Policies
I understand that The Salvation Army is a religious and charitable organization that requires the assistance of volunteers in the conduct of its various social service programs. It is my desire to further the work of The Salvation Army by performing services as a volunteer without compensation and that, in performing said services I acknowledge that I am not acting as an employee of The Salvation Army.
I hereby give my permission to be photographed by a representative of The Salvation Army for the sole purpose of promotion of the services available at The Salvation Army. I also understand that I have the option at any time not to be photographed.
Volunteers under the age of 18 require parental permission to volunteer and be photographed. Please call (920) 684-7117 for Parental Consent-Youth to Volunteer form.
I understand that photography/videography of clients served by The Salvation Army programs is strictly prohibited. While you are encouraged to share your positive volunteer experience with others, please be considerate of the confidentiality of our clients, and include only volunteers in your photos and videos.
I agree that if The Salvation Army is a subject of a social media post or blog, I will state that I am posting as a volunteer.
I will log in and out when volunteering and will wear identification when required.
I will maintain a nonjudgmental attitude with clients.
