Organization Policies

The CARES application requires that volunteer applicants create a username and password for themselves.  No one at CARES has access to your password.  CARES suggests that you use your email address as your username.  Using your email address will provide you with a username that is unique. 

Once an applicant is accepted that username will be used in the future to provide volunteers access to more information about CARES and the volunteer activities that are available.  The functionality for volunteers to use a username/password for this purpose is not available today and CARES hopes to have this ability available by the end of 2023.

You will need to enter a unique username to identify yourself to the system. You should select something that is easy for you to remember such as your email address or your name. Your username must be at least 6 characters long. If the name you enter is already in use by someone else, you will be prompted to choose another username.
