DPP Member Expected Behavior Policy

By submitting this application for membership in Denver Pet Partners, you agree to support and demonstrate behavior that honors our mission and core values.

DPP Mission:

To enhance the social, emotional, and physical well-being of children and adults through comforting and supportive interactions with registered therapy animal teams, and to educate the community and inspire others to pursue this form of volunteerism.

How We Use Your Information

Thank you for your interest in joining Denver Pet Partners. We take the privacy of your information very seriously. Here is how we use the information you provide us as part of the membership application process:

a) Your email will be added to our member-wide email distribution list so we can reach you with important information for all members.

b) Your email and name will be used to distribute our newsletter and Team of the Month announcements, as well as information on special events in which you can participate.

c) For Visiting Members, a photo of you with your animal will be added to our website team photos page. For Supporting Members, a photo of you will be added. Your name will contain only your first name and the first initial of your last name.

d) Your contact information (name, address, phone, email, and animal information) will be included in our membership roster (which includes all members). The roster is updated regularly and made available on the home page of your volunteer portal. This information can only be accessed by active DPP members.

Renewing members should sign in to their account on the right side below in the box entitled "I already have a Username".
