We appreciate your interest in becoming a volunteer at Hollywood Private Hospital! Here's what you need to know to see if you're a good fit:
QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Commit to a regular schedule: one 4-hour shift per week for a minimum of 6 months.
- Obtain a police clearance (we can help if you don't have a current one).
- Complete a Working With Children Check (WWC) form (we can provide one if needed).
ORIENTATION and TRAINING
- Get prepared with online learning modules covering important topics.
- Attend a full-day volunteer orientation to learn about the hospital and your role.
- Receive specific training for your chosen volunteer position.
- Get comfortable with "buddy shifts" alongside experienced volunteers before going solo (mostly available mid-week).
