VOLUNTEER AGREEMENT
I understand that:
There is a probation period of up to 3 months for any new volunteer role;
Ongoing volunteer status is subject to maintaining a police clearance and/or medical clearance if requested;
Some programs review Volunteer status annually;
My volunteer role may change as new opportunities or changes to programs arise; Generic Volunteer details are used for reporting purposes;
Training will be required for the volunteer role;
As a volunteer worker, I agree to carry out all Policy, Procedures and Regulations of the Mount Barker District Council and to represent the organisation according to the Code of Conduct;
I am responsible for advising Council of any changes in my contact details, health (including medications), driver status, or any other relevant information;
WHS is a shared responsibility and that it is important to report any concerns, near misses or incidents that may arise for me, colleagues or clients when in my care as soon as possible;
I certify that the above details are true and correct.
When you meet with you Program Coordinator you will be provided with a copy of the Volunteer Information Booklet including rights and responsibilities, Volunteer Code of Conduct and Council Volunteer Policy. This will als be another opportunity to discuss the content in details and to ask further questions.
