Tutoring or Afterschool program policy
You will need to complete a background check if volunteering for our Tutoring or Afterschool program.
Requirements for volunteering:
- You must be 18 years old to distribute food.
- We are required to perform a background check when working with children.
- You will need a vehicle and current valid driver's license if volunteering for delivery.
Heart of Hope Ministries is a Christ-Centered organization that strives to give hope & healing to the hurting. We are a ministry that crosses denominational lines and racial, gender, age, and economic background barriers, with one common factor to glue us together... our Love for the Lord... and His desire that we show and demonstrate His love to others.
One of our goals in this ministry is making sure we are ALL being good stewards over the things that God provides.
This will require maintaining a sense of order and excellence within this ministry. With that being said, please know that if you are volunteering, as with the community, we at Heart of Hope want to make sure that we are doing our best to help out with your needs as well.
Please, lets ALL make sure we are following these guidelines below in order to ensure we are all being good stewards -
- We are only allowed 2 (two) Walmart sized bags of items to take home.
- These bags may consist of food, clothing, or toiletries. Per week. We will follow protocol by letting a staff member know our needs so that we may serve you.
- We are not allowed to help ourselves without permission from staff.
