Seattle Japanese Garden (Arboretum Foundation) Volunteer Application Process

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us! Although the address fields are required, please feel free to enter the Arboretum address if you'd prefer. We limit our correspondence to email, and text when appropriate.

All participants are expected to:

  • Follow staff direction and Garden rules at all times.

  • Use tools safely and intentionally. Be aware of your surroundings while using tools and working near others to prevent injury. Tools should only be used as demonstrated.

  • Take care of personal belongings. Personal items should not be left in vehicles. Volunteers are responsible for keeping belongings with them at all times or leaving them at home.

  • Wear appropriate clothing. 

  • Support a respectful work environment.
