Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the London Public Library. We have had an overwhelming response and our summer positions are filled. We are pausing our application process for now to determine what opportunities we still have, if any.
We will open applications on July 11, 2026. We will be recruiting for several roles that will start in the Fall, including:
Our Literacy Programs
- READ Mentors- volunteers are working with struggling readers during the school year, and we are seeking English and French speakers
- English Conversation Program Mentors- volunteers will be working with adult English learners ( must be 19+)
- Beyond the Book Mentors - volunteers are post-secondary students who will be mentoring high school students ( must be 18-24)
Our other programs
- Dungeons and Dragons DM's - volunteers to assist in running 10-week D&D campaigns in various libraries on weeknights or weekends
- TAG - volunteers who are in high school will meet monthly to discuss current issues and library related maters as well as learn leadership skills
- Adult Program Volunteers - various postings
Please check back as occasionally new opportunities arise throughout the year. We also promote our recruitment through our social media and library newsletters.
