Welcome to the Summer Reading volunteer application
Thank you for your interest in Summer Reading at Multnomah County Library! Read the application instructions below carefully. If you need help with your application, contact Volunteer Services by phone at 503.988.5731 or by email at libvols@multcolib.org. If you would rather complete a paper application, they are available at all library locations.
New to volunteering?
Start your new application below in the I am new to MyImpactPage.com section. If you are under 13 years old, this application needs to be filled out for you by a parent or guardian.
Attention adults! If you are completing the application for your child, please enter your child's information under Contact Information. Parent/guardian information will be asked later in the application.
Volunteered with us before?
If you have applied to volunteer with us in the past or another organization that uses Better Impact, you already have an account. Start your application below in the I already have a username section. If you don’t remember your login information, you can reset it. If you need help with your username or password, contact us.
Note: Libraries not listed on the application are not currently looking for volunteers this summer.
Privacy
We do not sell, rent, or trade our user information to outside parties. We use the information we collect about you to facilitate the volunteering process, respond to your requests, and to provide information to you about Multnomah County Library volunteer opportunities.

By completing this application, I wish to be considered for a position as a Summer Reading volunteer with Multnomah County Library (MCL). I understand that completion of this application does not guarantee acceptance into the program. Incomplete applications may be returned. I certify that I have answered truthfully and have not knowingly withheld any information relative to my application.
I agree to follow existing and future rules and policies of MCL. I understand that my position can end at any time, at the discretion of MCL or myself.
I agree that I offer my services as a volunteer with no expectation of monetary compensation and that I fully understand that I will be required to attend orientation and training.
