Information for Foster Volunteer Applicants

Foster Volunteer Requirements:

To make sure you can help as many animals as possible, foster volunteers must:

Be 18 years of age or older;
Show proof of spay or neuter and up-to-date vaccinations for current pets.
Have a separate room to isolate a foster animal.
Have time to care for foster animals.
Have access to a vehicle.
Abide by the foster agreement.
Attend a general and foster orientation.
Understand that foster volunteers cannot adopt their foster animals.

NOTE - The OHS provides all the food, supplies and medical care the animal needs.

Completing an application does not guarantee a volunteer position.

Personal information provided by you in this application may be used pursuant to the OHS Privacy Policy available online at www.ottawahumane.ca or by contacting the privacy officer at 613-725-3166 ext. 246. Information may be used for purposes of follow-up, future OHS communications and solicitations, and statistical analysis.
