Volunteer Terms and Conditions

We work directly with youth in foster care and are required to complete some necessary steps to ensure their safety and that our policies are followed.

As a General Volunteer you are welcome to volunteer for activities or events that do not include the TCP youth, such as fundraisers for example.

Any person that volunteers directly with TCP youth, such as Book Bus or other TCP youth-related events, requires an annual background check (age 18+) and brief training video to be qualified. Please select from the General Interests options in the application to specify the volunteer roles you are interested in.

The following steps are required to become a qualified volunteer with the TCP youth in our program:

Complete the online application
Complete a current background check (age 18+)
Complete the required training videos
Confirm you understand and will abide by the organizations policies

Note: If you wish to apply to be a TCP Mentor and/or Tutor, then an additional application process in required.
