CASA VOLUNTEER EXPECTATIONS

I declare the information filled in this application is true and complete. I understand that any false information provided may be cause for denial of a volunteer placement or dismissal after placement and my volunteer status may be immediately revoked by CASA at its own discretion. This information will be used to process my eligibility for a suitable volunteer position. 

By completing this application form, I agree to complete CASA volunteer onboarding process including: 

  • Participate in volunteer interview and orientation process, including confidentiality and Privacy Training completion indicated by signing the CASA Confidentiality Form.
  • Complete any e-learning trainings, review and abide by CASA policies in addition to the CASA Volunteer Manual and participate in role-specific training as required.
  • Commit to learn how to use the CASA Volunteer Portal, how to sign up for opportunities and how to enter volunteer hours if needed.  This can occur during or after onboarding is complete.
  • Completion of additional background checks required to access CASA clinical volunteer stream opportunities if/when invited to join.
