To be a member of the MPTF Student Volunteer team, please review and agree to the following requirements for volunteering.

- Commitment to schedule and logging of hours
- Parental Consent Form (can be completed after orientation)
- Liability & Photo Release Waiver (can be completed after orientation)
- Confidentiality Statement and Agreement (can be completed after orientation)
- Compliance with current MPTF health clearance guidelines. TB test and flu vaccine are mandatory
- Maintaining the privacy of our clients and residents is important. That means you may not share any names or personal information about residents or clients with friends or family or on any form of social media.
FAQ
- What do our student volunteers do?
- Support Long Term Care Activities team. Responsibilities include: helping residents in various activities and classes, pushing wheelchairs for residents to get around campus, set-up and clean-up of various activities, friendly visiting with residents. Shifts available every day.
- Assist residents at our Tech Tables walk in workshops on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month.
- Assist at special events
- How do student volunteers get on the schedule?
- The opportunities calendar is online in the MyImpact portal. Student volunteers are given access to signups when onboarding process is completed.
- We encourage student volunteers to signup at least 24 hours of time for shifts.
- Is there a dress code?
- All volunteers must wear closed toe shoes and their volunteer badge at all times on campus.
We expect all MPTF Volunteers to act and dress in a respectful and professional manner.
