Furry Friends Volunteer Liability Waiver
Contact Information Sharing: I authorize Furry Friends to share my contact information with other volunteers and staff strictly for the purpose of coordinating volunteer shifts, operations, and communications.

Assumption of Risks: I understand that volunteering involves handling rescued animals, which carries inherent risks including, but not limited to: bites, scratches, injuries, infections (e.g., ringworm, tetanus), or harm to humans, family members, guests, or personal pets. I understand that I should consult my physician regarding necessary vaccinations (such as tetanus) at my own discretion and assume all related risks.
No Insurance Coverage: I understand that I am not covered by Furry Friends' workers' compensation, liability, or health insurance. I am solely responsible for my own coverage.
Release of Liability: I release Furry Friends, its officers, agents, employees, and assigns from all claims, damages, or injuries arising from volunteer activities (including fostering, events, transport, or care), whether caused by ordinary negligence or otherwise.
Family and Home Exposure: If fostering, I understand family/guests/pets in my home may contact animals and face similar risks, which I assume on their behalf.
Electronic Validity: This agreement (original, fax, or electronic) is binding. In emergencies, Furry Friends may contact my listed emergency contacts.
