Volunteer Policies

You are 18 years of age or older
You have no record of criminal offence
You can provide one reference
You understand the need for confidentiality
You remain calm and clear-minded in crisis situations
You have good decision-making skills
You respect others' choices, identities, and lived experiences
You can support people whose life and circumstance are different than your own
You are available for mandatory training (dates and times to be confirmed)
You can make a minimum one-year commitment to the program
You can commit to the minimum hours requirement for your desired role (noted in position description)
A minimum of 2 years has passed since yourself or a family member has accessed services from the Zebra Centre
