Foster Application Process

Foster Commitment

I am willing to transport my foster animals to and from the shelter as needed.
I am willing to take photos or allow an Animal Friends Alliance volunteer to take photos in my home of my foster animals.
I am willing to keep track of medical records and vaccinations, and report any health concerns immediately.
I am willing to work in collaboration with a qualified Animal Friends Alliance Adoption Counselor to ensure that the new adoptive home meets our guidelines.

Volunteer Fee

As part of our application process, we ask for a $40 volunteer fee to help cover the costs of your volunteer T-shirt, nametag, handouts, background check (if 18 or older), and our online volunteer information center. We hope it is a small price to pay for the good feeling of knowing that you are helping the animals and people in our community, but if you are unable to pay, please contact our Volunteer Program Manager.
