Application Process: What to Expect

Age Requirements For Using This Platform
If you’re a youth between the ages of 12-17, you must have a parent or guardian complete the application on your behalf.
Volunteer Age Requirements:
- 16–17: May volunteer independently with parent or guardian consent.
- 12–15: Must volunteer with a parent or guardian present.
- Under 12: Not eligible to volunteer.
Application Process for Youth:
- Parent or guardian must complete the application and waiver on behalf of youth.
- Bring the signed waiver to the first shift.
- Parent or guardian manages the volunteer account.
Volunteer Position Requirements
- You must be able to stand for three hours during your shift.
- Basic English communication skills (verbal and comprehension) are required for all volunteers.

By signing up, you acknowledge and agree to follow SHARE’s policies. Not following policies may result in temporary or permanent loss of volunteer opportunities at SHARE.
