Organization Policies
Thank you so much for expressing an interest in our Florida State Fair Teen Volunteer program. The next Florida State Fair is scheduled for February 5 – 16, 2026. No previous experience is necessary.
- Teen Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Volunteers under the age of 18 are required to have signed permission (Teen Waiver and Release) of all parents or legal guardians.
- Teen Volunteer applications are due by December 22, 2025.
- A minimum of 20 volunteer hours is required as well as attendance of our annual Florida State Fair orientation.
- After completing the application, please contact the Florida State Fair Volunteer Coordinator to set up an appointment for you and your parents or legal guardian.
- Supervision: For the protection of all Teen volunteers, staff members, adult volunteers and visitors, the Florida State Fair Authority prohibits any one-to-one interactions between an adult and a child alone in any closed room or area that could be considered private. All Teen volunteers will be supervised while on property, though the supervisor will change based on assigned tasks for that day. If you have any concerns regarding your supervisor, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator.
- Supervision After 6pm: Persons 17 years of age or younger must be accompanied by an admission paying parent or guardian, 21 years of age or older with a valid ID, for entry to the Florida State Fair. A parent or guardian can supervise up to 4 people 17 years of age or younger.
Once again, thank you for expressing an interest in the Florida State Fair Teen Volunteer program. We are committed to providing an enriching and fun volunteer experience to all our Teen Volunteers!
Sincerely,
Dianne Stahl, Florida State Fair Volunteer Coordinator
